The legacy and creation of what Décor Group has become today all began with the tireless efforts of Salvatore Bruno, the Bruno brother’s father. He had a natural talent for woodworking and opened his first trim company in the 1950’s. During the life of that company, all four boys worked alongside their father, learning skills that would prove crucial to the future of their business today.
Much of the Bruno brothers’ work ethic, commitment to excellent customer service, level of innovation and creativity is a reflection of their father. They have sustained his legacy by continuing to build the business upon the principles of “We do it right, the first time, every time.”
The success of Décor Group is a direct manifestation of the founders work, dedication and constant receptiveness to change. They are in constant search of the newest innovations in their sector of the manufacturing industry. Making changes to machinery, automating lines and travelling to explore cutting edge technology they can integrate, is what sets their company apart and what has led them to becoming a major manufacturer and distributer.
One of their most recent product lines garnered the interest of CBC’S major television show “The Dragon’s Den”. The Bruno brothers presented their bio-energy firewood logs, one of their latest innovations that transformed wood waste into a renewable energy source. This ultimately resulted in a partnership with The Dragons.
Resourcefulness and resiliency is at the heart of what motivates the brothers to continue creating. One of those relations includes their most recent patent on their RTA door system that is quite a revolutionary concept.
